About
I am from Austell, Ga. I married my high school sweetheart and have three children. I studied Architecture and Engineering at Southern Poly Tech and Georgia Tech. I then studied Human Services and Psychology at Mercer. I changed direction and decided to pursue business. Throughout fifteen plus years of business consultation, management, and ownership, I never stopped drawing. My influences are comic books, photography, structures, automobiles, motorcycles, textures, and all human interaction.

Method
I start with an image. I decide what is necessary. In my mind, I delete everything that is not. I sketch and sometimes trace defining parts of an image. I use many of the tools from my experience in Engineering and Architecture. This is considered unconventional, but lends to a unique technique. I put ink on the paper to solidify what needs to bee seen. I use graphite to give shade or depth. With back and front lighting, I am able to cover the ink with graphite where needed. The paper I use is heavy and affords me the opportunity to press in certain places for emphasis and added texture.
